Redispersible VAE powder HEARST RD-760F is a product made of vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer emulsion as the main component, via spay drying process into flowable white polymer powder, which can be widely used for dry mixed mortar or powder construction material products

• HEARST RD-760F as a VAE polymer powder can be redispersed well into polymer emulsion again after mixing with water.
• HEARST RD-760F with the characteristics of high ethylene content and low film forming temperature, therefore, can form very soft film, which fits for application scenarios that require high flexibility or good adhesion to organic interfaces.
• HEARST RD-760F with good acid and alkaline resistance, is good for the workability and weatherability of the construction material products which used it.
• HEARST RD-760F with good and wide compatibility, can use with almost all other chemical additives in diverse formulations.

HEARST RD-760F is recommended to use in dry mixing mortar or powder construction material products, such as ceramic tile adhesive (S1, S2), external wall insulation system (EIFS/ETICS), extrusion mortar for EPS component, skim coat, sound insulation mortar, Joint compound, etc.
Normally recommended dosage is 0.5~5% in total formulation.
 

• In EIFS/ETICS formulation, is recommended to add 2~4% dosage of HEARST RD-760F, which can effectively improve the bonding strength, impact resistance and reduce water absorption.
• In flexible skim coat formulation, is recommended to add 3~5% dosage of HEARST RD-760F, which can significantly improve the flexibility, and bonding strength with the substrate.
• In flexible ceramic tile adhesive (S1, S2) formulation, is recommended for add 5~10% dosage of HEARST RD-760F to improve the flexibility, and bonding strength of ceramic tiles.
