Redispersible VAE powder HEARST RD-730H is a product made of vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer emulsion as the main component, via spay drying process into flowable white polymer powder, which can be widely used for dry mixed mortar or powder construction material products.

• HEARST RD-730H as a VAE polymer powder can be redispersed well into polymer emulsion again after mixing with water.
• HEARST RD-730H with the characteristics of high glass transition temperature, therefore, has excellent bonding performance, especially fits for the application scenarios that require high bonding strength, such as ceramic tile adhesive.
• HEARST RD-730H can form hard film inside and surface of the finished construction material product, which can significantly improve the adhesion, cohesion, wear resistance and waterproofing ability.
• HEARST RD-730H with good acid and alkaline resistance, is good for the workability and weatherability of the construction material products which used it.
• HEARST RD-730H with good and wide compatibility, can use with almost all other chemical additives in diverse formulations.

Applications and dosage                                                                                                                                   


HEARST RD-730H is recommended to use in dry mixing mortar or powder construction material products, such as ceramic tile adhesive (C2), tile grout, waterproofing mortar, self-leveling mortar, repair mortar, decorative mortar, skim coat, micro-cement, fire-resistant mortar, AAC adhesive, gypsum products, etc.
Normally recommended dosage is 0.5~5% in total formulation.

• In ceramic tile adhesive C2 formulation, is recommended to add 2~5% dosage of HEARST RD-730H, which can effectively improve the bonding strength, water resistance, opening time, etc.
• In self-leveling mortar formulation, is recommended to add 1.5~3% dosage of HEARST RD-730H, to improve its bonding strength, flexural strength and wear resistance, etc.

Storage                                                                                                                   

• HEARST RD-730H storage should protect from moisture.
• At storage temperatures above 30ºC or under pressure during storage may cause HEARST RD-730H caking occurs.
• If HEARST RD-730H is not used up after opening, it should be sealed in time and used as soon as possible.
• The optimal service life of HEARST RD-730H is 6 montHEARST RD, and the possibility of the product performances beyond the best use period will be reduced.
• In order to ensure the best use effect of HEARST RD-730H, it is recommended to test the product's performances before use.
